Frequently Asked Questions relating to COVID-19
I have gift vouchers that expired can I still use these?
Any gift vouchers that expired during the lockdown will be extended for the time in which the business was closed. For example, gift vouchers that expired March 2021 will now be valid until the end of June 2021.
What PPE will you expect clients to wear when you reopen?
Following updated Government Guidelines, from August 8th it is compulsory for all clients to wear masks within the salon. Should you be exempt from wearing one, please inform us before your visit. Should you arrive without a mask we can provide you with a disposable mask for £1.
Will you be having screens up on the nail desks?
We have not purchased these as we don't believe they are an effective way to control the spread of coronavirus as contact will still be made between therapist and client. The most effective way is regular and consistent handwashing and cleaning of hard surfaces. All staff will be wearing the correct PPE for your treatment to comply with Government Guidelines.
How are you going to manage keeping clients 2metres apart in salon?
We will be controlling the number of staff and clients in the building at one time. We are advising clients to not turn up early for treatments to ensure that we are able to clean thoroughly between each client in the treatment areas and reception. Our nail desks and pedicure stations will only be used for 2 clients at a time with the middle desk unoccupied to allow over 2 metres between clients. Treatment rooms are all single occupancy so just one client per room as usual. Please note we will not be permitting children or extra guests into the salon with the client.
What if I have to cancel my appointment due to self isolating?
Should you need to cancel or reschedule your booking we would appreciate as much notice as possible so that we can fill your appointment with clients on our waiting list.
Our usual cancellation policy is at least 48hours notice or we will charge the booking fee of 50%. We understand that during a global pandemic we do not want to make clients feels pressurised to attend their appointments as we want you to follow the NHS guidelines and isolate.
Under circumstances where 48hours notice is not possible you will be able to reschedule your appointment and booking fee for the end of your isolation period. If you do not rebook within 21days we will charge the 50% booking fee for time lost in salon.
